I was flicking through the music channels just while an ad break was on [was watching Secret Eaters on ch4] and came across a song from years ago from a boyband 3SL called 'Take It Easy'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yendc5-T1ts Anyone remember it from 2002?? I loved it back then!!!

What other songs have you recently listened to from years ago that you forgot you loved years ago??

Thank you for posting this thread!

It's somehow made me remember a song I adore that came out a year ago but haven't heard in months.

Gone Gone Gone- Phillip Phillips. So uplifting!

aw I loved her songs 'Gotta Tell You' and 'Lately'!! I always wondered what happened to her. I remember back then everyone was saying she was gunna be the next Britney but after like 3 singles she vanished :o

She was on Irish TV last year (I think) with a reality show where she had to choose a song from budding songwriters. I wish she'd make a comeback.

I came across Wicked Game by Chris Isaak for the first time in ages the other day, and I forgot how good that song sounds. Even to this day it's a great song.

I must admit I looked this up because I heard the cover (which I Iove) by a band called London Grammar
Both versions are pretty good I'd say

In answer to the thread question my choices are:
The Cure - Faith , The Drowning Man , Siamese Twins
Blur - This is a Low

The entire album by Pop Will Eat Itself, 'This is the Day, This is the Hour, This is This...'

It's always been a favourite of mine but whenever I play it in full, I always takes me back to my teens.

Yo who remembers Oui 3? They had a few hits in the early 90s. I remember marvelling at the lyrics of Trevor Miles. Maestro!

    Oui 3 - For What It's Worth

Oui 3 - Break From The Old Routine

I found one I had never heard previously which isn't bad either:

    Oui 3 - Crazy

I rediscovered Northside also. Very underrated imo. Bad memories of wearing bleached flared jeans but good tunes:

    Northside - My Rising Star

    Northside - Take 5

Northside - Shall We Take A Trip

ELLL...ESSSS....DEEEEE... and we did. Damn we were so suggestible.

Finally, Carter the unstoppable sex machine. Jim Bob and Fruitbat you crazy bastards - we salute you. And thank you for attacking Phillip Schofield live on tv.

Carter USM - The Only Living Boy In New Cross
