So many songs express love and heartbreak, but which is your favourite of those songs?

Mine are;

Bangles - Eternal Flame. So cheesy but it is an awesome song
Dionne Warwick - All The Love In The World. One of Dionne's lesser known songs but also very moving

My favourite break up song is Hall and Oates - She's Gone

    I hate ballads with a passion so my favourite love songs are probably a bit different to most

    Marc Evans - The Way You Love Me and Fish Go Deep - The Cure And The Cause are two that spring to mind

    This is very subjective.

    I've many favourites from different eras.

    I think a good judge of a love song, is how enduring it is and how many people have recorded it over time.

    This is my all-time favourite. I've got it on one of my vinyl jukeboxes. It's been recorded by no end of artists. This is from the fifties.

    My One and Only Love.

    Here's a version recorded only last year, by Halie Loren.

    Of course fellow jazz fans will think this version is probably the best, recorded 52 years ago, by John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman..

    'Breathing Out' by Doveman.

    So quiet and fragile it almost doesn't exist, but impossibly beautiful.
