Has anyone else had a problem with this month's updates?
Every time I run Windows Update it finishes OK. Then when I check for updates again it finds the same 3 over and over again.
I'm running 64-bit Vista BTW.

maybe try downloading them manually.
I believe they also install if you have the 2007 compatibility add on.
7/64
And they don't reappear when you reboot?
they didn't but they have now
KB2810048
KB2760411
KB2760588
which were all successfully installed are now showing again.
KB2760411 - KB2760588 - KB2760583
I'm running Windows 7 (64 Bit). The updates still keep showing, even after a re-boot.

Not sure whether the patches haven't been installed, or aren't being detected.
Secunia's excellent Personal Software Inspector can't find them either. (If you haven't downloaded PSI, try Version 2.0 rather than 3.0 because it's much better IMHO.)
Very annoying that Microsoft can't get things right before they issue updates, and even worse that they haven't yet warned people or fixed it. The amount of time that users are wasting trying to sort out M$'s mess-up must be astronomical !

I keep getting 2 of these and though i tried manually it says i already have them but keep showing up, I've hidden them until MS sort it out.
MS left looking like a bunch of amateurs..
Don't just think it...do it! Set yourself free.
I haven't voluntarily installed any updates in over a decade. Actually that's not true, when I got this laptop I went through the entire list that MS suggested when I first connected to the web and chose 6 security updates.
You have to button your machine up tight though 'cause they're sneaky. Even though I've blocked their asses every which way they still occasionally manage to sneak the odd critical update in.
Just for the record I do of course update MSE every few days manually and sometimes my security slips and MS update it on the sly. Mind you this is the first time I've used an AV solution. Before that I used a pro firewall in conjunction with my custom security settings.
The first time I got a virus in all that time was whilst I was testing something for someone on this forum a couple of weeks ago.
Updates do not slow your computer down. They aren't add ons. They replace existing components with ones that have their bugs fixed.
