This is the single most ridiculous thread I have ever read on my entire life.

"Does anyone know that middle aged pretty blonde woman from of TV who looks like my friend none of you have ever seen and I won't show you?" is like asking "do you know where that plant with the leaves and flowers is kept in the garden centre?" or "do you know where I can find a particular grain of sand I made a sand castle with when I was eight?"

Ooooh - this is a good one.

The people that popped into my head are the woman who played the old Barnaby's daughter on Midsommer Murders - Laura Howard or the one from Larkrise, who's in loads of things, butnever gets a big mention - Claudie Blakley

Or - what about the blond woman from Eternal Law - Hattie Morahan.

Or what about the blond woman that was in that thing with Toby Stephens - Lucy Punch

Maybe Georgia Moffat, or is she a bit young

Does she wear clothes and walk around saying things to a camera reading from a script?

Perhaps she talks to other people on screen at the same time as her and speaks in English when she does so?

Because all these things are vital distinct details that will help us all.

It's the kind of thing we are always discussing at work - someone is always trying to identify an actor / film / song with the barest minimum of detail - when we finally get it, I get really annoyed as the description given never matches anything like the end result :D

I still enjoy trying to guess who it is, though

Is it the girl who used to be in the Bill?? I think she was called Beth but she was also definately in Dead Set, a drama on e4 a couple of years ago about zombies and Big Brother - she matches your description!

I just find it hilarious the poster can't even provide a single solid point of reference. Not a program she's been in or whether she's a presenter or actress or newsreader or anything at all. So we have to figure out a not fat not thin sort of attractive woman who may or may not have a ponytail who happens to be blonde and on TV and may or may not have a dimple or cleft or something else is. It's literally impossible but still this thread exists.

I think I would comfortable rob the OP in broad daylight and get away absolutely scot fee, the photofit artists would be useless.

Lol, it's a bit like doing a 5000 piece jigsaw without the picture on the box. Bet it will end up being Lenny Henry.

My Mum did this to me a few years ago, her description was " A really good looking bloke, in his 30's, in lots of plays, he hasn't got an accent"....... No person on earth would have got it.... when after months he finally appeared on a programme I nearly beat her to death with her slippers...... Go on have a guess.

Like a friend of mine, manager of a specialist bookshop related this:

"I'm looking for a book as a present for my husband".

    Title - Don't know.
    Author - Don't know
    Publisher - Don't know.
New book, old book? Don't know
    What's it about? Aeroplanes
    Military or civil? Not sure.

and then.... 'but I know it's got a red cover...'

Haha, sorry, it shouldn't really bug you as I haven't given you anywhere near enough to think "ooh yeah I know who you mean, what's her name?"!

Joanne Froggatt is good though - bit older, but right sort of "look". I would say the mouth is smaller. That might be a distinctive feature actually.

    I'm sorry, but I really haven't got a clue:confused:

Hope you find out who your mystery person is.

    Ciaran Hinds? :D

Worth a shot in the dark, this seems to be the theme of this thread anyway!
