Was that the white macbook? The MBP's great, I'm sure you'll get on well with it. I do all my university work on mine and as long as I don't need any special software then I'm ok, but luckily my course (business) doesn't need it, apart from MS Office - and I have that! :D

Sorry this is so late :o But nope it wasn't the white one. The macbook I had looks exactly like a Macbook pro, but it was a macbook. I was talking to the guys at Apple and they said it was released between the Macbook and the Macbook Pro but only sold for 9 months. It was a one off. I too do all my uni work on here however I will need Photoshop and Illustrator, both very expensive, meh :p

I've been really spoiled this Christmas. Received three parcels from my grandfather and his wife - lots of Dutch food and snacky bits, two tops, trousers, two pairs of boots, a paperweight, a cuddly toy, and a gold "Faith, Hope and Love" necklace. Oh and table cloths and loads of bath goodies!

From my boyfriend I received the Robbie Williams "You Know Me" book, a bedside light, socks and undies, very comfy slipper boots, Lush goodies and chocolate.

From my boyfriend's mother I received several books, the Two Brothers DVD, Season 1 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, socks, chocolates, a writing set, a cuddly toy and a hot water bottle with a cuddly sheep cover.

Was a bit sad because my sister was going to come over for the holidays, but her flight got cancelled due to bad weather. And then the transferred flight turned out to be overbooked. It's been a nice Christmas so far, though. Good food, good company and lots of nice things :).

Oh I know the one now, seen a few of them around! Some people at my university have them. All the Mac users I know love theirs. What are you studying?

Ipod Touch (pretty good, but getting a wi fi signal is easier said than done).

Shaving razor - a very expensive one, actually, one of those that has it's own little pod that cleans and charges it. Never really rated electric razors, can never get as good a shave with tyhem compared to a good old blade, but I will see if this one is any better.

    Plus about 5 or so blu rays/dvd's, a PS3 game and a few cd's.

Bought the kids flashing light drinking glasses, and I love them.

You are having a drink and it is a good half pinter [might me a down side] it makes my cider look lovely.

I only got them of the £ shop, but they are good.

What did I get? = Jumper, money, I don't care I love the rest of the year when you just buy stuff because you need or realy want it.

Little basket of handmade chocolate farmyard animals.

    Thorntons.

Hardback edition of my favourite Moomins book.

    Italian handmade soap.

    Handmade English soap (rose oil).

Stitch markers in the shape of little bees for my knitting, from France

And my main present - which was some pretty, blue double pointed knitting needles also from Abroadshire.

My favourite was a little amethyst bracelet my son bought me.

I have a lot of kids to spend out on, so generally get small odds and ends for myself and Mr h rather than big things - and put them aside for xmas, in the months leading up.
