I agree. I also find 'Everybody Loves Raymond' depressing.
Apparantly, it's meant to be a comedy!
I know. I was shocked too.
I know comedy is subjective but I can't believe there is anyone who'd find Everybody Loves Raymond funny. I've always found it unwatchable, dreary dross.
I love fraiser! considering buying the boxset, saw it in HMV for £50 - quite reasonable i think!
If you get the UK boxset you'll miss out on one of the classic Frasier moments as the episode Daphne's Room has Kelsey Grammer's short performance of Great Balls of Fire edited out due to licencing issues.
But at that price its a great deal.
Buy it then get the US set of season 2 to replace the UK one
Frasier returns next Tuesday at 7.40 a.m. (but there's always +1) moving to 7.35 and then 7.10 later in the week. It's in the same sort of slot the week after but moves around a bit day to day.
Tempted - although I've seen most many times. Always good.
Best American sitcom for me and up there with Fawlty Towers, OAH and Blackadder S" as best of all.
Can anyone recall an episode where Martin upsets the owner (Robert - which has a delicious line based on the Englush and french pronuciation of the name) of a fancy food store which stocks a dog food that Eddie falls in love with?
I could quite happily watch Frasier all day. Just give me a massive bowl of chocolate (Galaxy counters), large mug of tea and house all by myself. The best comedy show by miles. I watch C4 in the morning, then switch over to CC for 9am.
Comedy Central are also showing HD episodes of Frasier although as expected it would seem only the last couple of seasons were produced with HD in mind.
Looks like they were also made for widescreen as the 16:9 picture does seem to have more at the sides than the 4:3 dvd's .
It would seem that the Frasier team were more forward thinking than the Friends people

What's the point of showing things in unsuitable timeslots? C4 is so ridiculous for censorship. Especially with their repeats of Friends.

Does your question “is it?” refer to whether the boxset is in HMV, is £50 or whether it is, indeed, reasonable?

Agree it should be on in the evenings, instead of some of the drivlel we get. Please Channel 4 take note.
The best comedy show ever in my opinion.
Only during the day, after about 8 it's not on again until 5am.
9 if you watch it on plus 1
It airs on Comedy Central X at 3 and 3,30, 5 and 5.30 and 8 and 8pm
Plus most weekends, like the one just past, they show Frasier all day
Brilliant comedy.:D

And Malcolm In The Middle beat them all. The whole lot are HD abled! The only thing not so is the starting credits in the first few seasons.
Sam Malone was better than Frasier anyday
Only until Diane left. It was a long slow decline after that.
I liked both the Diane Chambers and Rebecca Howe era's equally. After Diane Carla, Norm and Cliffy got more screen time which was nice.
Looks like paramount had a trick up their sleeve before warner bros. did.:D
I thought it was the other way round.
Rebecca was a far better character than the annoying Diane and her whiney voice.
They also developed the other characters a lot more - including a young psychiatrist..........
