Petville Players: Question

Sorry if I'm in the wrong area, I'm not sure where you'd put a random question about PetVille?

I've noticed recently how whenever I've been feeding my pet (various kibble), when she's finished it there's no "gems" (coins rewards or even Love points) anymore?

Does anyone know why this is, have PetVille stopped giving any sort of reward after finishing kibble or something?
