I know that but how could he do that to his children?
If the poor man was not mentally ill - in the depths of depression - he wouldn't have. When people are suffering from severe depression, they tend to believe that their loved ones would be better off without them. It's tragic.
being reported he was also in Severe money trouble and facing bankruptcy.
On the Helen front not surprised that's why she is being pushed like mad they need a Josie MKII someone the Daily mail and others can fill a page on so far that's not happened to normal BB HM's. They wont care what the story as long as it keeps a BB Hm in the media and people talking about that HM.
This is wrong on so many levels it is horrendous. Suicide is not selfish, I agree there are better choices to be made.but he was seeking treatment for his depression..

I don't even know why I am engaging in this but the truth is that people who are suicidal often feel that they are so worthless that their loved ones would be better off without them. They believe they are a drag and a burden on those closest to them and that their demise will make the world batter for their loved ones. It is the most tragic and desperate thing to listen to a suicidal person.
Next time you pass a Samaritans fundraiser, give them your loose change.

Yet again, I support your views. Anyone who blames a suicide as selfish has no comprehension and need to thank their lucky stars that they don't suffer so. Don't make such statements until you have walked in those shoes. As a Samaritan, the comments by some of you are cruel and disgraceful. Shame on you.>:(
Unfortunately, sufferers are treated so badly by people with zero understanding because there are not the same outward signs as somebody with a broken leg, who will present themselves in plaster and walking with crutches- and so, elicit sympathy.
People with depression are ill. They cannot "pull themselves together"
Treatment is poorly funded, and there is often little effective help available.
As a parent of a daughter in her early twenties, who has suffered from depression for 10 years, believe me. I know what I am talking about.
Sorry. I know this is supposed to be about Big Brother, but I couldn't let that comment go without challenging it.

Selfish bastard if you ask me.
Wow
I can only imagine how desperate someone must feel in order to actually end their own life.

He suffered from severe depression. He was not in his right mind.
He had depression. It's not about being selfish.
Seriously, don't even go there.
It is very sad indeed.:(

You obviously know nothing about mental illness
Blimey... That's harsh. Have a read of some of Steven Fry's thoughts on depression, it'll give you a little insight. He writes so well.

I don't think anyone did ask to hear you spout your ignorant ill-informed BS, did they?
I see no reason why she should receive a death threat.
Some people are just stupid.
Thanks for posting that. Sensitive and well considered article.
Your comment is awful on so many levels.
