Ruth last week I absolutely loved your performance but tonight I wasn’t overly impressed by the song choice as like a few of the others I felt it was very safe and predictable for you to sing a song by Shakira. I was glad you sang parts in Spanish but I was sitting throughout the entire performance waiting for the Ruth power and it never happened and I was a bit let down by that tonight.
Treyc this is one of the few Lady Gaga songs that I really adore and I think was a nice choice for you. My only critic was that your mentor should have chosen something else this week for you and used the actual version of the song at a later date as I find this version of the song doesn’t sit right me for some reason. I think it really needs the lift in tempo, but that is my personal opinion.
Nope, we have better, spectacular performances coming up (if the themes are what I predicated).. so you wait and see :D
Ruth, I thought that was just fantastic. You showed off the sexy senorita that you are. That was wonderful, and the vocals were supberb. Every week you have shown a different side to you and I love you for that. There is not a doubt in my mind that you won`t be safe tonight!!
Ruth, I have to say im not a fan of what your mentor did cause I didn't feel the rawness of vocals I expect to see on 'Unplugged' week. I feel like he coped out, by just using an original, and posting another link of an arrangement, either that, or it just didn't have the same 'Unplugged' feeling I thought it should of had, for me. Aiden I`m sure that song was written for you. Forget Oasis, you made it your own, and I can see how much you want this. Having been in the bottom last week you really stepped it up and I hope you aren`t in the bottom this week because you are incredible. The vocals were just WOW, and you weren`t dwelling on boring like some tonight. Please vote my boy!!
Aiden I don’t know how many times this has been used for you in competitions and every time I have seen it used it gets absolutely slaughtered by the judging panels as it is such an obvious song choice for you. I am not sure what way the public will vote as I have been surprised a few times but in my opinion you may be in for a bit of a fight tonight. All the best Aiden.
I honestly thought last week would be the end for you, due to the performance you gave, and quite surprisingly you got through, and I actually loved that performance. The vocals were clean and on point, probably the best vocal performance i've heard from you. You are Pingu's last boy standing, you're back on track and I think if you continue like this, you could go far in this competition. Well Done
