Love the look of Michaels pudding.

If his tower still has whisky that would be a no for me. It should be for all the street party and a lot of them will be (I assume) under age and also people who hate whisky).

Pacify the under age with a faceful of meringue! :p

Andrew not yet in the top 3 - they've kept that quiet.

I know it is difficult since we can't taste the stuff but I couldn't help thinking that Tom's was a bit undermarked and Michael's a bit overmarked.

    Just IMO of course :D

Strange how several times they've had opposite reactions between the judges and the chefs.

Also i've noticed that if one chef starts off with the criticism then others will follow. If not they they all just sit on the fence.
You'd think being at the top in their industry they'd be bolder with their comments.

What's the betting that Andrew gets the 30 he needs for top 3 ;)

I keep getting the impression that it's not a street party at all.
No kids with egg sandwiches and cream soda pop.

;) The rhubarb seems to be going down quite well though.

If they want 4 things on a plate then I would say Chris' and Aktar's look better (obviously the taste is more important though).

It is in a high class covered market too: not my idea of a street party but at least you don't have to worry about the weather..

I struggle to believe that a dainty afternoon tea selection is what this brief is about.

Michael in the top 3 with 3 of his 4 courses, and he still may not get onto the banquet.

"great result especially for Andrew" ?! Forget that, Michael has achieved three top three places!!! Oops sorry, sibling pride has finally slipped out ;)

The starter was the most obvious choice. The pork would clash with the main and the soup was a non-event.
