Differnt Weather reports on TV Channels?

I was watching the Local Weather on itv and on the BBC and both have different weather Reports for the Same day which begs the Question do Local BBC and Itv share the information from the Met Office or are Local Weather reports done by another Company
And even on the National Weather reports on all Channels are Different as well and they use the Met Office to get the Information
For example on the BBC would say heavy Showers and Sunshine but on ITV the report for the same day would say Sun with some cloud so which weather, so why the Difference so which weather Report is right
Anyone find the Weather Reports on all channels slightly odd with their different Forecasts for the sameday
