I always think that gamer's that came into it with the launch of the original xbox or Sony Playstation have missed out on some excellent consoles and games.
I always think that gamer's that came into it with the launch of the original xbox or Sony Playstation have missed out on some excellent consoles and games.
They'd also probably realise that games today aren't too expensive.
I can remember SNES games being regularly £50 in release and sometimes £60.
I had a fair few of the ones already mentioned (still own most, in the loft) but one I didn't seem to see was the Amiga CD32. This was a nice little console unfortunately didn't get the games for it and got blasted out of the water by the Playstation when it arrived two years later, I think?

One of my friends had a CD32. Wasn't it effectively an A1200 with a CDROM drive, in a console style case?
Commodore 64

Binatone One
Binatone Sports
CBS Colecovision (with atrai & turbo add ons)
Nintendo LCD (tons!)
Nintendo Desk Top (three)
I thought Binatone just made telephones
The Binatone were mostly "pong" style games
CBS Colecovision was an early cartrage console that had the power to display a whopping 16 colors!
The Nintendo LCD games were hand held "pip pip" games, the desk tops were more or less the same but in mini "arcade" machines that sat on desk tops, I don't know if it's sad but I actually still have them all!
NES
GAMEBOY
GAMEBOY ADVANCE

Nintendo Wii
Xbox 360

Nexus 7
Galaxy SII
Multiple non-gaming pc/laptop setups, so they are used for pretty out of date games.
Recently picked up an old N64 and Mega Drive. My brother had a PS1 so never owned my own as the ps2 was backwards compatible.
