Where is it :confused: When Cristiano missed one the other day he was called all kinds of names but yet there's barely any outrage over Messi penalty. Why is that

Because Messi is a Messiah. Ronaldo is a small petulant child.

Messi is certainly the 'Media Darling' no question he gets away with a lot more than Ronaldo does, Messi is certainly no angel like he is made out to be, he can be a petulant child just like Ronaldo.

Perhaps because 99% of footy fans are not interested in "Copa America" or whatever it is, was it actually on telly?. Most are watching the Euros.

While it may not reflect them as people at all, Ronaldo has an arrogant reputation whereas Messi's is one more humble so people will take greater pleasure in him failing.

Perhaps also because Ronaldo is a better footballer and so it's more of a shock when he misses a penalty.

With the fabulous wealth and lifestyle Ronaldo enjoys is he bothered how he's perceived?

Anyway Copa America, one thread with 80 posts. Euro 2016, multiple threads with 100's of posts to answer the OP's question.
