I am sorry but I have been in and out of hospital over the last six weeks or so and have started chemo for non-Hodgkin lymphoma (which sounds worse that hopefully it is) but am am now back home so should be able to contribute a bit more fully now. Man City v Fulham - John Murray & Peter Reid (commentary)
The best thing about this was John Murray talking about something he'd read in The Sun and asking Reid what he thought, and Reid said he didn't want to comment because he was from Merseyside and therefore didn't want to know what The Sun said. Kudos to Reid for that (and to Murray for saying he understood why).
Yeah, slightly strange time for Green to take a holiday perhaps as they've had 2 big games the last 2 Sundays. Given he hasn't done any commentaries/606 the last few weeks I think he must be having a break. I guess there's a limited amount of time for him to take a break given Christmas, etc.
Nigel Pearson will be talkSPORT's commentator for Manchester United v Fulham (Saturday 17:15) with Stan Collymore and Leeds v Tottenham (Sunday 14:00) next weekend.
