Popular things you don't get

For me it has to be football as one of the top ones, I have never got the appeal of it and trying to fake an interest has never worked as fans soon suss this out. Also this must be pretty hard if you live in somewhere like Liverpool.
On the list as well has to come Simon Cowell talent shows, popular soaps, Big Brother( when it was popular) and nineties rave/club culture and laddishness.

    Politics.
Yeah that's right, I said politics.

Movies with human actors. I'm not into those at all.
    I only like animated movies.

Definitely BGT. It's the most watched TV show in the UK. Yet it's just the 'The Gong Show' for the 21st century as far as I can see. I just can't get worked up about it.

Cupcakes. They're just small cakes. Why do people get so excited about them?

Why is it that the greatest disaster in life today is to have left your Smart phone at home?

I can understand why people get great satisfaction out of gardening but I've never had the slightest interest myself.

Some forms of rap 'music'. It just sounds like nasty blurble.

Was never into 'Friends' or 'Sex in the City'...romcoms also bore me rigid, not to mention assorted 'reality' TV programmes.

Why, to some people, being famous for fame's sake is of utmost importance, irrespective of talent or capabilities.

I can 'get' football, even if it doesn't appeal personally.

People who seem to think that it's great to get ratar*ed to the point whereby they can't remember how much trouble they've caused while on a bender, or who they've slept with, and who expect others to clean up their assorted bodily fluids and mess, time and time again.

    Obsessive texting.

Humous. Reminds me too much of the contents of my cat's litter tray.

Possibly, but I think we're 300 miles apart. Also those pubs that tend to have a massive television with football on that spoils you having a quiet drink. You'll have about 40 men crowded round it screaming at a game from a city they don't even come from.
I never seemed to get the mania Britain's Got Talent developed when Susan Boyle was on it. I thought, she's not bad, but she's not the best thing since sliced bread.

I don't get gardening. I like a garden as it puts a gap from my door to the pavement. My method is an hour of weeding and chuck weedkiller down. Every couple of months.

    I don't get Sudoku,
    Collecting,unless its something I use.
Spotting, such as bird or train.
Fishing, when I can nip down to the supermarket for it.

I think it's 'cos they're made of cake. I know what you mean though.
