Georgia's mum did look a lot like her. She didn't look anything like Angie though, isn't she meant to be Angie's sister? Or is it Georgia's father is Angie's brother? It's a shame they didn't get Angie back for the wedding, last time she was around she clashed with Sheila would be good to see them onscreen together again.
Kyle's mum Sharon was great as well I hope they bring her back for a longer stint in the future. She reminded me a bit of Janelle.
Angie also clashed with Saint Sonya - would be interesting if she returned!
I felt sorry for Josh today when he lost his job; they're definitely playing up the consequences of his actions. I did like how he acted around Daniel/Amber, especially when Daniel bought the meddles and trophies just so Josh could keep tham.
I also liked the little scenes with Paige/Daniel, and especially the Paige/Paul scene. I wouldn't mind the latter two sharing more scenes, as they bounce off each other well. There's something I don't get: Brennan told Paige that he was asked to do a job for the police, but now he's acting all cagey when it comes up in convo. Is that b/c if he tells her, she'll work out that he's spying on Dakota?

I don't know how Georgia's family is related to the Rebecchis. It isn't clear if her mother is Angie's sister, or if her father Pato is Angie's brother? Who is Coral Reeves (Tad/Gem's mother) related to? I guess if Toadie/Georgia/Gem/Tad are all cousins, then they must all be related through Angie - right? They can't be related through Big Kev?
I thought they would have brought Angie back, but I guess they only do that for Toadie related events. I guess we should be grateful that Georgia's and Kyle's parents were even cast, considering these characters are normally no-shows.
I think it would be a waste not to bring Sharon back, considering she had more of a role than Georgia's parents did. It would be good to see how she interacts with Kyle/Sheila/Naomi on a more general basis.

Yes Coral Reeves is Angie's sister she and her husband appeared briefly a few times in the late 1990s. They were Tad's parents and I believe Gem who appeared quite recently was meant to be Tad's sister. The Timmins kids were Toadie's cousins on the other side of his family their mum Janelle being his dad Big Kev's sister. Georgia is definitely Toadie's cousin on his mum Angie's side as it was established she and Gem were also cousins however I don't think its ever being stated which of Georgia's parents is Angie and Coral's sibling.

Thanks for the info. I don't remember Coral's appearance in the 90s. I do remember that Tad turned out to have been adopted. Like you, I think Georgia's mother doesn't look anything like Angie, but I could imagine her father being Angie's brother. Sometimes I think they keep it quite vague so they have the option of changing things if the story warrants later down the road.
The lad playing Josh was very good today I thought. The scene where he realised the extent of what he'd done to Chris, and then when his Mum found him crying were both excellent.
Toadie doesn't even deserve the name Toadie anymore, he's too on his high horse, quite sanctimonious, and last night's ep both him and Sonya acted like Mal gave Nell some drugs, when it was only a phone. the look on Toadie's face when he said I think its time to call it a day. looked like Mal was dog shit.

Yes, but made up for it today. There's nothing that can't be made right by having a quick chat with Susan.

Harley Bonner has really stepped up with this story. I know his first crying scene a week ago was a bit ropey, but this one was spot on. Harley's acting has really improved since Josh's swimming days. It's hard not to feel sorry for him.
I also think James Mason is doing a good job portraying Chris's disabilities.
Loved the end scene with Paige pouring Dakota's Martini over her laptop.

Sonya has ruined Toadie. The pair of them are so sanctimonious!

HArley was great today, but Nate was a pain. He is a loose cannon and is not the right person to have charge of Chris in his condition. His parents should step in - and it's time for Nate to go!
I'm frustrated because I don't think the guy playing Nate has the emotional range to pull off this storyline well.. It's Mason all over again!! However as has already been said James Mason and Harley Bonner in particular have been wonderful
I'm hoping Paige and Brenno's misunderstanding is sorted out soon, this is bascually what happened to Kyle and Georgia on a weekly basis pre marriage. I do enjoy watching scorned Paige though

Love Paige she's fab, I'd definitely not mess with her! Josh has been so much better lately, I knew if the writers got him away from dullard Amber he'd come good.
You can tell that Paige is scared that Brennan will reject her, even if the reasoning is silly, it seems to be something she's experienced a lot in life and something she expects to happen. I understand why Brennan can't tell Paige anything, but his explanation of "it's work" only adds to her confusion.
I liked that Terese was included in Brad and Lauren's discussion about Paige, and she was right about Paige being the only one who can control her emotions. But, I don't think Terese is comfortable with any of it, and Brad is deluding himself if he thinks everything is OK, just b/c Terese is no longer acting out.
And ITA with smfan about Nate: I think the actor doesn't have the range to display the depth of emotion that this story and character requires. He's not in Mason territory at all, and is far better than Mason ever was (remember how Mason couldn't even work with props?!), but Nate sometimes feels like he's trying too hard.

Agree that the actor is nowhere as bad as Mason was (at least he doesn't keep taking his shirt off!) but he is poor and not capable of pulling off the story. In any case, the character is not well thought out - after some such traumatic experience shouldn't he be receiving professional help from his own family, and is he the best person to look after Chris? Still think he and Chris an unlikely couple - and Nate is a liability, not someone to be trusted with a person in Chris's delicate position.
I must have missed it but I'm assuming Paige and Brenno have had a discussion about what he does for a living because his excuse for kissing Dakota as 'a work thing' doesn't really make sense considering he's supposed to be a mechanic

Damn it! I wondered where mine went after Glasto>:(

And Nell is such a great soap toddler!

She'd be Paige Turner.
Nice one ;-)
She realise she can trust Lauren and Brad that y she listen to Lauren saying she need to talk to Mark.
I did like Terese involve with conversation but ultimatley it is between Brad and Lauren
Where's the omnibus?
An actress in 'specialist' films, or so I'm lead to believe.....^_^
channel number 175 channel 5 plus 24
Ha! HA!
So she is. Bet it's not her real name though!
