  Ken Russell and Germaine Greer claimed it appealed to them on an intellectual level so I think there were people who were prepared to do it for the 'social experiment'. Before Jade Goody self destructed that is.

  I would not put myself through that for anything.
  If I was a sort of celeb that was not in the limelight anymore, maybe if that is what you seek.
  For me (not a celeb) the thought of putting yourself through that sort of thing is horrible.

  Depends on how much the fee is...I recall reading that Vinnie Jones fee was £250k...thats a serious amount of £££ for 3wks work....and if you are in show business you have to make hay while the sun shines...I think a couple of CBB HM`s have done it for the experience
