I am 26 nearly 27 and I have had no luck with the ladies as I have not had a girlfriend since High School, I have been on dating sites to find girls in Leicester but I have had no luck,

I also use the bus quite a bit to travel into Leicester for work and I meet cute girls on there but have not had the courage to chat to them.

Can anyone help

Start a hobby or two where you have to socialise.

You're still chatting up the girls the the bus stop then?

Don't take this the wrong way, but you do come across as being a bit.. odd on here at times. I'm sure you're a really nice person irl, but you have to look at your behavior and how you are coming across to people. Perhaps you are scaring all the potential ladies off?

You must have had one girlfriend since high school. What about the one you were going on about it this thread?

That chat up line might not be too convincing at the bus stop though.

Why limit yourself to women from Leicester? Widen the search a bit, and if you're out in the sticks and don't have a car start saving for one; that will broaden your horizons hugely.

Meantime, sign up for a few evening classes in things that interest you; enrolment should be starting again soon for next term. Keep up with current affairs...sport...music...films etc so you have plenty to talk about.

Stop the chatting up. Girls like men who are friendly and who make them feel safe. Get to know them and show an interest. Stop thinking of girls as shags but potential friends. Be friendly and watch your body language that you don't appear too keen or desperate. Relax and smile. I suggest pubs too and go out with a mate. Flirt and see what happens.

Stop stalking people on the bus and you may have some luck.

Surely their are better places to meet the ladies? The bus? Really?

What about at work? People who have the same interests? pubs/nightclubs? Social events? Hell at this stage even the street corner paid fun is better than the damn bus!

At the end of one of his other posts, the OP says:

    "I need help and advice."

    Craig

No, Craig. You just need help.

funnyman I just wanted advice on how I can approach them as these are my dilema's

    1. I don't drive
    2. I don't work - well do voluntary work
    3. Go to the pub occasionally
    4. Meet people on the buss for a chat (when I see them)
    5. I don't stalk people just hat to whoever I see on the bus might be a nice girl

Peter Crouch's actual reply when somebody asked him what he would have been if he wasn't a footballer

    "A virgin"

Well you need to find yourself a hobby. What do you enjoy doing? Maybe you could find some evening classes around where you live. You would meet more people then.

Not driving is not a dilemma, plenty of us don't drive and it hasn't affected our love lives.

OP, the deal is this. you've got to be willing to face up to knock backs and develop your game. you could be the ulgiest cat in the world, but if you've got game then that's half the battle won.
a previous poster made a very good suggestion when they said stay abreast of current events as you can use this to your advantage. another thing which has already been suggested is to look for girls outside of leicester.

i recall you mentioned you're a carer, is there any way of getting day\night care relief?
