    Is this a joke?

    A monument to a gun-carrying gang-banger?

Is this a troll, or are you just a bit soft in the head?

So it might be, but what's that got to do with the Mark Duggan case?

    For a scumbag gangster?

Why not build one for Raoul Moat as well?

No thanks, although I do admire the obvious troll intention of the thread.

    Who's that trip-trapping over my bridge? :D

A prone statue of him dead, with the message, 'don't carry guns, kids!' That might work.

    No

i don't think he deserved to be shot dead the way he was no matter what. The police should shoot to wound not kill They managed to avoid killing Lee Rigby's murderers so clearly its able to be done

Nevertheless the guy was clearly dodgy so no monument for him:D

I'm sure if you believed that somebody, who you know had been in possession of a loaded gun, was pointing said gun at you, you'd do whatever you felt necessary to protect yourself.

Who else are you going to propose? The Krays? Dr Crippen?

We have too many monuments. A new monument should be for a person who had made a direct or indirect contribution that a community or the society still benefits from. People like William Cuffay or John Snow, yes, but the rest? No.
