    The band Tool have released 4 albums in 21 years. Pretty glacial progress unfortunately.

    Tool are the perfect example. But as I'm sure Maynard would agree, you can't rush a good wine! ;)

    They have confirmed they are in the studio so the new album shouldn't be too far away!

    I'd say an album every 3 years is how it should be. None of this releasing an album year like Rihanna does.

    Grace Jones...last had hits in the 80s but still in the papers (this week playing London Fashion Week) and headlining shows. Had an album out in 2008, her first in almost 20 years. First album out in 1977.

    Hurricane was an absolute corker of an album.

    Erm, the band Tool have been around for 23 years, but only have 4 albums. Somehow they are still remain a huge draw.
