50%! they've nabbed 50%! why didn't the morons bid them down to 45 or 49%! No business sense AT ALL.
Well I think that was abundantly clear from the moment we found out that they are selling their product at cost price!
Hardly anyone puts up a decent negotiation on this show. They're so deperate for cash they just drop their pants as soon as they dangle a bit of money in front of them!

Because the Dragons hold all the cards. There is no way to negotiate with them unless three or four are interested. Even then it seems to be agreed between them not to undercut each other.
A wunch of bankers. If you start arguing about a few percent they will simply call the deal off. They aren't like normal business people.
We run a small business and have just bought stick on magnetic signs that stick onto the side of our works vans. My partner asked me that if I saw a competitors van parked up would I pull of the sign.
I'm not telling you if I would or not, but it started and interesting conversation as to if the Dragons were starting out as a small business which of them (if any)would remove a sign off a competitors vehicle.

What do you think??
Cheers Susan.
James - definitely not
Peter - probably not
Theo - maybe
Debrah - yes
Duncan - well if some of the rumours about him I've read are true pulling off signs would be the least of it...
I know this is probably highly inappropriate on a serious thread (ie not about Big Brother or X Factor) but am I alone in thinking Evan Davis is potentially the ugliest man on TV?

Sorry, I'm a bit new to this...
You mean Theo Paphitis
Thanks
We know Duncan - we watched you invest in it a couple years ago.

Now *that'd* be a show worth watching.
Ha ha. And when they drop their pants, Duncan's "I'm out" could take on a whole different meaning...

If only Evan Davis would follow your example.

"That's awful" - "Yes"
"You've overestimated this..." - "Yes"
"It's ridiculous" - "Uh huh, yes"
"It's potentially dangerous" - "yes"
Careful, I got banned from this forum for saying something similar;);)
