Presumably because she mocked Sinead's SNL appearance which was a protest against such crimes. Of course, she's giving Miley the false credit of an iota of intelligence - a mistake, since she's quite clearly - seriously - stupid.

I agree Sinead shouldn't have put the letter out publicly, but she raised a lot of very valid points, Cyrus just showed herself to be a complete brat and ignorant by her response.
I think she was mocking mental health, as someone who has suffered from it in the past the last I need is someone in the public eye doing so, there is still a heck of a lot of stigma out there. Even if this is not what she meant by it she is incredibly dumb if she thought people were not going to read it that way

I think Sinead's alright, but maybe she could have contacted Miley through her management if she felt she needed to ask her about personal things.
I have to say I'm a bit depressed by this all now, and I wonder if it's good for anyones mental health.
