Travel Charger for Iod Touch 2g

I need a travel charger for my ipod touch 2g it's going to be used in Europe(Spain/France) and America in the next few months. I did buy one - but when I went to use it on the socket with the UK adapter it said the ipod won't charge/work with this one. Luckily I got it really cheaply (in the sale + employeee discount) so not to bothered there.

But now I really need to get my mitts on a decent and fairly cheap new one soon - I am a student after all.
I'm going to Spain in 2 and a half weeks so I need to have it by them. Can anyone recommend one to me - thanks in advance
