Can't buy anything on iTunes or check my account info

Anyone ever experienced anything like this? Every time I click to buy something I get to enter my password as per usual but then I get a message saying

"We could not complete your iTunes request. An unknown error occurred (-9808). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later
Anyone?
