Played this so much yesterday that I had to charge my phone by mid afternoon, charge usually lasts over a day.
Am loving this update, but as mentioned on some other fan sites I've had donuts disappear again. Raised it to EA who came back with "As I discussed this to my specialist they told that this is a known issue and they are working on this as soon as it will get resolved you will get back your donuts.....They will inform about this on the forums."

Same here, my ipad was starting to die early afternoon so went to plug it in and left it in a different room so I had a break from it
Hi everyone. Thought i'd bite the bullet and start messaging on here. Been playing for a good couple of years now and am loving the Springfield Heights update and so pleased we've finally got Cookie Kwan who is one of my all time favourite characters.
Thankfully, I've not fallen victim to the donut glitch since the update but my Dad has. We're hoping he gets them back after contacting EA.
If anyone wants to add us as friends on it, I'm Davidmace1979 and he's Ianmace1952. We both play every day. My Dad plays more than me though! In bed, at work, anywhere he can. His town is so much better than mine, hehe. The fact that he retired this week means he'll be on it much more!
We've only got each other and Other Springfield as friends, as well a town that we made under my Mums name, but that ones maybe played once every couple of days.
I wasn't aware at first that it's not time limited so sat like a zombie for 2 hours trying to do all the short jobs. I've relaxed a bit now thankfully and remembered I have... You know... A job and life and such
Really feel like new life has been breathed into the game though. Not even looked at FGTQFS and it's ridiculously short events for over a week now
I've tried to add you both davidmace1979, but I get errors. Try and add me at the_fish86298. Once you put your names on here you'll soon get a lot of new neighbours which really helps with the friendpoints and during bigger events.
I lost interest in the Family Guy game very shortly after I installed it. I think I played it for a week or so. It's strange, I really enjoy Family Guy more than The Simpsons (although old Simpsons trumps old Family Guy and vice versa) but I just couldn't get into that game. I was already well settled with Springfield when it launched though so I'm sure that didn't help. I have no desire to get back in to FGTQFS either.
Speaking of donuts. I just got my weekly mystery box and got 30 of them! Now I face the usual dilemma of blowing the lot on something interesting with added xp or doing a few Golden Homer Buddha and seeing what comes up!
My town used to be well organised, but when a big event happens I just chuck the things wherever I can. I'm finding it hard to buy enough land to keep up with this latest extension!
I've tried adding friends but there seems to be something wrong and the system keeps erroring
Yes, I had that issue too. it refused to find people by username.
I'm at an annoying stage with the Heights area. I have reached my maximum pill level but don't have enough to buy the theatre so I need to wait until I get to 28million Property value to expand my pill storage!
Note about this: do not tap on Homer once you unlock his Conductor costume. (It'll cause the game to crash - and you can't do this until you unlock the station. Seems kinda pointless to do it now, but heyho.)
Second note about this: there are an amazing number of 30s tasks at the start.
