So you left the box off and still had a huge amount of data flowing? That's the only way turning the box off could eliminate it.
From your description you turned off the Sky box wifi and everything went back to normal That would tend to point directly to the sky box as the culprint, either as an active source of the data, or a passive victim if it is is responding to some other messages.

I was merely pointing out to you that if you read the posts properly you'd be able to see your misunderstanding.
I HAD NOT 'found the cause' at all (see post 91) all I had achieved was the elimination of the Sky R/X being responsible, and had to, Quote; "go back to the drawing board'
Genuinely, that's really hard to misunderstand.
