Hi all
I am doing a bit of creative writing and was wondering if you could come up with some 'Northern' sounding forenames, but not ones that sound Victorian i.e. Ernie etc.
So far I've come up with Keeley, Elaine and Aaron. I really can't think of any more! Any genuine feedback would be appreciated!

Aubrey "Privy" Broadbent.
Maurice "Down Pit" Sleightholme.
Yeah, I see what you're saying there.
Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire often interlate socially and Mansfield is not that from South Yorkshire so... yeah! I guess by Northern I'm talking anywhere north of Birmingham!
I suppose what I mean is they just have that 'thing' about them where they just sound northern. Elaine and Keelye in particular do create that impression of 'northern' in my head. I suppose it's an abstract conecept.
Is that the bloke who lives up the road from Don Caster?
Aye, next door to Hudd Ersfield.
What about that really fit southern bint from Ashes to Ashes.
LOL, and next door to Carl Isle
Does he live with his brother Tad?
There was an Elephant called Nellie too, not sure if she was Northern India or N. Africa though.
American, I'd say.
