Will he eat cat food? The higher protein content might be better, or boiled chicken with lots of the skin to keep him warm.
Are the teacup chihuahuas inherently cold? I wonder why? Rupert looked quite a bruiser on the video.
He is gobbling down the adult food with great enjoyment.:D The reason teacups get so cold is related to the high surface area to volume ratio - they have the potential to release core heat from a small body volume over a comparitively large surface area. I'm keeping a watch on his weight - he is now a massive 1Kg.

Animal shelter just called to let me know that Kitty aborted her kittens :( 5 of them....probably for the best to be honest as there were no homes for them. They're going to spay her next week and get her leg checked out....then I'll bring her back here.

Youngest has been reading all my old James Herriott books and loving them, and I've just found the tv series on youtube...I can forsee many happily wasted hours ahead :)

Ah, poor puss, although probably not a bad thing in the longer term. If they spay her she'll feel a lot better and probably get a new lease of life - if she can find a home.

Maybe youngest is a budding vet - not a bad aspiration!

I could do with trimming my jasmine- it's taking over, and my roses, but I worry about the frost (and snow) killing them if I do :(

ahha I had to edit as I put rimming my jasmine!:D:p

Evening guys - still very cold here but most of the snow now gone. Still some thick patches of ice though, particularly the paths towards the woods where the wind is fierce and doesn't allow any thaw.

    Helloooo:D

OH found Easter eggs in M&S :D yum:D

Yoga was good, hard but good! OH has a new found appreciation for 'standing on one leg and sh!t like that' :D

Thai teacher cut lesson short 'cos himself was getting on her nerves, ok, she didn't say that exactly but effectively that's what he was doing! 'Working from home' my skinny @ss:D

Ach well, it's Friday afternoon, kids will be home soon and neighbour has selflessly volunteered to pour drinks down our throats later. Cheers you lot!
