    So sad, she was a guest at Autism's Got Talent show at the Mermaid Theatre a couple of years ago and she was so lovely.

    It's been quite a year (seemingly more than the norm) for this kind of thing amongst well known people from her era. Gone a fair bit too early. R.I.P. I remember the catchy 'Rock Bottom' well, even though I was teeny when it came out. :)

    The singer-songwriter Lynsey de Paul, who was the first woman to win an Ivor Novello award, has died at the age of 64.
    De Paul suffered a brain haemorrhage yesterday morning and died in hospital in London.

    As a regular panel guest on Blankety Blank, it always amused me when Les Dawson introduced her as being 'so small, she needs mudflaps on her knickers'. She was good on BB.
