Will we see a Bandaid30 and who would you have on it?

Next years its 30 years since Band Aid, and while the charity single concept has lost its impact, I still like the pop stars of the day getting together for a rendition.

So who'd you have on it? Remember all acts have to be British or Irish

It would sell bucketloads if they managed to get Adele and 1D on board.

    I think it's highly likely we'll see BandAid30.

    Olly Murs
    Leona Lewis

I would quite like to see a new Band Aid version. I really would like to see them pull the stars in for it :- Adele, Coldplay (Chris Martin), Leona Lewis, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, MKS, Dido, The Script (Danny O'Donoghue), Snow Patrol (Gary Lightbody), V V Brown, Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith, Labrinth

I think the recent year in music has produced a lot of great artists. As long as we have no Dizzee Rascall rapping please.

I would have loved Madonna to appear on the single she has performed at Live Aid, Live 8 and Live Earth and she introduced the Band Aid 20 video.

But seeing she's US not UK or Ireland she won't qualify.

Especially if it was a contender for Christmas Number One!

Although these bands are included for ironic purposes I would be intrigued to know what the politically correct position of a band like Dying Fetus would be in relation to famine in Ethiopia or Genocide in Syria?
So much of the output of these bands is about death and destruction after all.

Probably about the same as doing Everybody Hurts for survivors of an earthquake.
