I don't think Abijazz are deserved winners, they have consistently underwhelmed me.
As for the favourite dances, well Abi managed to stop flapping, but still gapping,Patrick's was more entertaining as was his AS compared to Natalie's and Susanna's paso was eclipsed by Sophie's.
Abi was a freer dancer than the contained Sophie but lacked subtlety in physical characterisation hence her waltz, rumba, paso all looked similarly soft.
She couldn't have delivered Sophie's charleston, the strength of Sophie's paso or the sharpness of Sophie's AT and I preferred Brendan's rumba to Aljaz's.
thanks for that KartemAddict, I wanted to watch that again. well, I really enjoyed the final especially as I didn't have a favourite so didn't mind who won, but loved watching Natalie and Artem's dances .... just a shame that Patrick or Ashley couldn't have been in the final too. You're right, Pashulty, there will be severe withdrawal symptoms but it was lovely to chat to some new people in the café
Yes, I'm stalking you again, KA!! ;-):D Thanks for posting this very happy dance here.
To those saying farewell, I must say that the Café will not be closing just because SCD has finished for this year. It will be remaining open always as all views on anything are invited and are most welcome. :kitty::D
Abbey "the nation's new sweetheart"?? She's certainly not mine!! >:( Boy, do I detest sweeping statements made as fact! I don't like immature people. You can't converse with them.
Yes, Susanna was Susanna's greatest fan, I think: total (misguided) self-belief.
Pfff! What an underwhelming final of a mostly underwhelming series, with a heroic try by the producers to brainwash the voting public.
ah.. Korky its just an entertainment show... I don't mind how it turned out despite having no favourites...
But the tone of that article speaks more of Fiona's character than anybody else!! Shame that it is from a 'celebrity'...All the rest have been all proper & dignified!!... Anyway I will get a latte served by the gap toothed Russian... while I put up the lightings and Christmas music on...The fire's already been lit and its slowly getting nice & warm in the café.. Do you want a drink?..You can choose who you want to be served by Korky...either the ex-gymnast or the ex-rugger?
Oh, the more mature one please! ;-):p He can balance my latte on one bicep and a seasonal vegetarian mince pie on the other. Now, how's he going to bring the cinnamon shaker...? :kitty:

Well he can bring it to you while shaking it... I am sure the pleasure of serving you will assist him in this regard...:p *Justsaying* ;-)
Oh, you mean when he was just about to spill it over me but caught it just in time? Yes, it was a near miss and so hot. Could have been a disaster but everything was safely laid on the table in the end.
Yes Korky!! The café does look very festive!!Ta
The gap toothed Russian will be helping around with the festivities tomorrow!!Yayyy!!:)
And I wouldn't say he is an in & out person... very thoughtful & pleasurable & VERY efficient!!! ;-):D
Happy holidays!!!:)

LOL... one very happy & well satisfied customer...:D ..Hope this bodes well for the café ..
Extremely satisfied! I give him my order and he fulfils it! What could be better? His attention to detail always puts a smile on my face.
Your waiter seems a little elusive at times - in and out before you know it, but very efficient when he concentrates on the job in hand.
