Makes you wonder how anyone at the BBC found time to make programmes in the 60s and 70s.

BBC will be hoping Travis is found not guilty now more than ever.

    it`s not his first rodeo.
Christopher David "Chris" Denning (born 10 May 1941) is an English former disc jockey. His career effectively ended when he was convicted for sexual offences in 1974, and he has spent three decades in and out of prison in Britain and overseas.

A leopard never changes his spots. he should have been given a life sentence in the 70s, there's no rehabilitating these scum.

Wonder if Denning`s name will crop up in the endlessly postponed report into the culture and practices at the BBC?

    Is there any rehabilitation?

    Prison alone isn't rehabilitation.

He didn't work there very long and anything he's now charged with isn't likely to be connected to his relatively brief association with the BBC. He was just a freelance presenter who would come in, do his show (in a studio, not involving the public) and then go. But of-course that won't stop people with an agenda trying to make a connection, however tenuous.

    That an accusation?

The link above is to the BBC site and I quoted their own headline so they`re drawing the connection themselves.

No not really, but undoubtedly there will be some people keen to make a connection when there isn't one. None of Denning's previous convictions appear to have had anything to do with his work at the BBC, and he did work for other broadcasters just as Savile (and others) did.
