I don't quite get what his problem is.

What trade agreement is he talking about?

    He so is!
He presented the bloody pilot of Deal or No Deal in the US, I believe! :o

Or some other show over there. I remember because I saw a clip on YouTube, and whoever posted it said it was presented by 'Some Russian Guy' who turned out to be our Paddy.

The man doesn't have a funny bone in his body. Slight problem for an "alleged" comedian

He's acting with jest, theyre mates...

Only the papers and Digital Spy take this kind of thing seriously.

I agree he could be as I always thought he and Cat were good friends.

I don't like Cat Deely on AI, but i have to agree this smells like sour grapes. He seems bitter that she is earning the big wedge overseas.

    Paddy's a comedian, he's trying to be funny . . .

    This is as funny as he gets I'm afraid . . . . .

I remember the friction on the Fame Academy shows.

Nasty piece of work I think but that is just my opinion. Pure jealousy.

Comic Relief does Fame Academy is on tonight btw!

Patrick Kielty is definately jealous. There was a clip on Youtube (which I can't find now) of the pilot episode of the American Deal or No Deal where he was hosting it. I take it that he didn't go down too well over there.

He should get his facts right. Cat's been in the USA for over a year, and made it big last summer with SYTYCD.

From my understanding, she did a very good job, and was asked to return this year - hence her bits on American Idol. AI is produced by the same people as SYTYCD.

He was lined up by Endemol to host the British version, which both BBC and ITV passed on. It then went to America, which also passed on the show.

Had they had a problem with him they would have just got another host.

It wasn't until quite a bit after that that NBC finally took the show.

I don't think he is trying to be sarcastic, ironic or funny in any other way at all and good luck to him. I hope he's not because I totally agree with him.

Cat's lifeblood shows here were both axed and she wasn't offered anything else, so her decision to go to the US was pretty much enforced and for some reason she has got lucky.

She is totally inept at presenting anything with an average audience age of above 8.
