I can't make my mind up about this kid - sometimes he looks really cute and cheeky but others he seems a bit like a creepy doll!

I think he's cute and the character Simon is very well mannered and spoken for a 5 year old.

I think he is very cute and so polite. I wish my son is as well-mannered as him.

Very cute and a great little actor for one so young. Look forward to more scenes with Blanche and Simon.

Me too. I can't wait to hear Blanche's take on Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine :D

The little boy who plays Simon is very very cute, and such a great little actor! :)

I hate children in soaps. He'll leave and come back in 10 years time to do a teenage pregnancy/drugs storyline

He does look of mixed race, especially as Lucy was so blonde: the curly hair and the tanned skin. Will probably be accused of being non-PC here...

I was thinking that too, he looks like a little faun - a beautiful little boy, though. He is totally natural on screen: I loved it when he said in a resigned sort of way "I'll go to bed".

I feel a bit of a hypocrite now, having posted on this thread, but I'm unhappy about threads that criticise the looks of child actors. They are not old enough to know what they have got into, unlike adults who expect to be judged on their appearance.

    Just saying:(

Sorry - is this thread actually asking what we think about the appearance of a child? For goodness's sake.

I know what you mean. I hated the threads ages ago about Amy (who I think is a lovely looking little girl!).

Sadly, people are so hung up on appearance these days:(

He is one of the better 'young' child actors they have had on there. I loved the bit about Postman Pat and how he went with the flow.

He is ok, also the way he said he would go to bed and not have to watch the fireworks. Love him. [he did it like a true actor]

Said with a muffled gob full of Rice Krispies "64!"

What's happened to his accent? Sounds Scottish in the ad. He was also in the first episode of Sunshine playing Steve Coogan's character Bing as a boy.
