Why not? He's not depressed or suicidal. He seems very cheerful. Why discriminate against people with a touch of alzheimers? (if that's what he has).

Memory loss won't cause a breakdown, he'll just forget some things.

I wouldn't go that far. He's getting on in years, he's had issues with drinking and drugs which have left him confused and as Emma said, he's hard of hearing.

He's a true celeb though, unlike some who have gone in there. An "A" lister. Starstruck quality for anyone who watched Point Break or anything else he's been in :)

I do agree they need to take care of him, keep a close eye and make sure he's alright. Give him a chance first though before we cry cruelty. :)

Exactly. I'm sure the other housemates will make allowances. So far he's my winner.

I was never entirely comfortable watching Lauren Harries, but having someone with dementia in there is a bloody disgrace

He was in a motorcycle accident some years ago and suffered a head injury I suspect that the effect of that head injury is what we are seeing

He does not appear to have any form of dementia to me, he defiantly does seem to have the residual effects of a head injury but that is not the same thing as a dementia type illness

He does a thing called "Buseyisms" in his head whilst people are talking to him, It can make him appear a bit slower than an average person but its something he uses to help him understand and cope with his disability.

For those that haven't seen Buseyisms before:
