Hi all,

Hope someone can answer this for me, i've been looking online but cant find a proper answer. Basicly i have an old 60gb ps3 which suffered the ylod a while back, did the heatgun fix which worked for a while but i knew that probably wouldnt last and sure enough a few hours later it died again (was plenty of time to backup though so that was ok).

I now work at a company who design and build various pcb's/custom systems etc and very handy for me, they have a proper reflow oven. Now i would like to use this to hopefully fix my fat ps3 but cannot find a proper answer to what temperature or times should be used (profile).

Does anyone have any links or info on what the temperature profile should be?

Thanks in advance.

I would have thought you and the others who work at that company would be the ones better suited to know the ideal temp and time.

Our boards are quite different to that of the ps3, for start they are no where near as complex in terms of the BGA's etc.

We could use a similar temperature profile but i wanted to know for sure before we cook it.
