Just thought I'd start a thread about things that are STILL operating ok in the snow.
My milkman delivers overnight, and last night there was a blizzard practically down here. Yet this morning, sure as eggs is eggs, there's my milk on the doorstep.
I'm thinking of nominating him to run the country judging by the amount of doom and gloom being posted about disruption due to snow.
Same thing last year, not once did he fail to deliver the milk.
So lets hear it for all those services and businesses that are still managing to serve their customers.

Men from the council have been with salt to refill our stocks.
Community police person slid down our road earlier.
And a random man wearing shorts walked past causing gasps from us all
In this weather there won't be much on show.:D:o
:D:D
I did wonder about posting about my milkman's "deliveries":o
God, that dates me, I don't reckon youngsters get the smutty innuendo whenever milkmen are mentioned.:D
Oh and the milk wasn't frozen in answer to Doc Shmok.
My hubby rang to say he has got to most places this morning so vending machines should be full in his area
We've got one, but he drives a Toyota Hilux, rather than a milk float.
Was it this chap by any chance?
