    Part of me is glad the TV shows are not focusing on the Green Party as much as UKIP.

    Not because the Greens have anything to be afraid of, but they do seem to be biased most of these programmes.

    Bizarre that they extol the virtues of Churchill who was a supporter of the European concept. As Winston himself stated "We must build a kind of United States of Europe. In this way only will hundreds of millions of toilers be able to regain the simple joys and hopes which make life worth living"

    It would be hard to find a place where a member of the Green Party would get shouted down. People listening intently to other peoples views doesn't make good tele.

    I love the idea that one of them is only doing it because he wants something to do, from this evidence they are a proper bunch of misfits.

    Yes I used to get good responses from people when I was conversing as a Green Prospective Councillor.

    Very true - just as the United States is but still quite strange that they appear to consider Churchill the epitome of Britishness whilst his writings are at odds with their world view (but then again the same could be said about the other parties).

    OMG. I am what might be called a typical ukip supporter. White, retired, live in the area - and recognise the type I have lived amongst for so many years. And relieved - because they are utter total sad idiots. Realising just how parochial and minority these people are. Farage - I really don't thing you stand a chance - TG.
