Utd will get out of it. They always do. I'd love a Preston win though.

Should have been offside as Rooney was blocking the sight of the goalie.

That never gets given now though does it, only if he touches it.

I don't think Martin Keown is right though that Rooney had to touch it for it to be offside. Could still have been given offside for interfering.

    Keown not a Falcao fan!

    And that's 2-1 to United ...

One offside and one push in the back.

    They don't get decisions though

I thought Rooney was interfering with play as the keeper is never going to dive for that in case Rooney gets a touch. Martin Keown seems to know better though.

You sure he wasn't blocking your sight?

    Stonewall penalty.

Rooney wins it and Rooney scores it.

Man Utd v Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter final.

Well they glossed over that one nicely with barely any replays or mention - but there didnt look to be any contact from the angles they showed.

    No contact at all.

The way Man U fans are celebrating is a bit tinpot. Do they think they are playing Barcelona? And not some third division cloggers?

Will there be an open top bus parade?

There was no contact whatsoever, none. Rooney dived.

What should they do? Cry? If Preston won people wouldn't stop talking about it so they should be happy about not having to face that at least.

No worse than the Liverpool fans and players after the Bolton game

First goal was interference from an offside position - he was in front of the goalkeeper.
Second goal involved a push in the back.
Third goal was a Rooney dive - I'll give the referee benefit of the doubt and say he was conned.

United through but thanks to the officials rather than free play.

United just keep winning ugly. Can they carry on doing it this season or will teams actually punish them?

Different game if the first goal hadn't been given. Maybe United would have even won legally.

No bitterness from me. I'm quite happy to admit it's winding me up that United are getting results with the football they are playing. I thought it was just a bad patch for them at the start but this is actually the way they are going to play. I know there's more than one way to skin a cat but like I said I'm not too proud to admit that it's annoying.

I'd like to see the player who can stay on his feet with a keeper sliding in on him that quickly.

He did leave his leg out to be clipped though.
