well as the title implies, this thread is here to get it off your chest what you think about your local christmas fair?
well here in edinburgh we once again have the embarrassing joke that is the winter fair, it ruins princes street gardens for months afterwards, the ice rink is a rip off and is frequently out of action due to the ice melting, its run by a couple of local chancers one of them called karen koren, but then again it could also have the involvement of the four pikeys and a snow machine that currently runs the woeful hampshire lapland park judging from its organization,
the local toilet paper better known as the 'evening news' even has the cheek to call it a 'spectacular to rival new york's central park':eek::D but then again its rumored the journos are on waccy baccy,:D
oh did i mention the rides are a rip off, £1.50 for a ten second slide on the helter skelter,:mad: the only redeeming factor is the xmas market but then again that has nothing to do with the winter wonderland farce, and if you don't get robbed by the cost of the rides ect i can assure you there is always a local ned willing to stick a knife in your ribcage in order to rob you,
edinburgh's winter wonderland is an utter joke,:eek::mad:

:eek::D:D:D
The tree is said to look like "something from a skip" LOL
Unless you cout the german xmas market that no one goes to
The market is good, the funfair is not so good.
We had Same Difference, Natasha Hamilton, Tim Vincent, Sally Jacks and Sir Tom Finney - and Adam Whatsisname from Rock FM!:D
Dundee had a Queen sound a like (couldn't see them) this year who were ok. Last year was someone I don't even remember, and the year before we had Craig Hill (Comedian).
why does people avoid the german market, is it overpriced,cheep tawdry crap?:eek::D
certainly does look awfull, :mad: i also heard the hyde park carnival is crap as well
"humbug, humbug"
Ha ha!
Is that left over from last year?
