Made their peace with them at last it seems. Apparently it took a lot of wining and dining by the Brits people to get them on board. Can't wait personally, about time they had a proper band on who can genuinely get the crowd going...

Brits chairman, Christian Tattersfield said: ''It took a lot of wining and dining on behalf of the Brits but it was my absolute priority to get Arctic Monkeys to perform. It has been their year. It helps that the Brit Awards is now seen as a credible event and is no longer the shambles it was four or five years ago.''

    Doesn't surprise me, they are a very commercial band. I have to laugh at the chairman saying the Brits are more credible these days. If anything they have never been seen as less credible with the One Direction award last year seen as a new low by many people.
