Ffloccinaucinihilipilification and pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (yep,.......copy and paste) were two words every contestant endeavoured to get in during the quiz show.

Paul Coia is married to Debbie Greenwood.
I used to love Ghost Train.
Anyone remember 24 Hour Quiz?
The Henderson Kids - mid-80s Australian drama with a pre-Neighbours Kylie Minogue & Stefan Dennis
No Limits - kids TV show with a young Jenny Powell
Neighbours is still on TV every weekday with Stefan Dennis on channel 5. Charlene's son will be joining the cast this year and Doug Willis (Jason Donovan's real life dad) is also returning next month!
Edit - totally misread that, sorry! Thought you had meant Neighbours was forgotten!

Got to mention Cannon even though it was 70s.
That was great.
I remember Watching Sledge Hammer at some ungodly early hour like 2.30 in the morning or something.

Ha, same here! Stumbled across it after getting in from a night out in me younger days, caught the opening credits and thought how cheesy it looked. Took me a while to twig it was a spoof. I was probably 'tired' though. As a Newt. Always recorded it after that.
Shattered (2004) - Reality series hosted by Dermot O'leary Ten contestants were challenged with going without sleep for seven days while their actions were constantly monitored. Over the seven days the ten housemates had to endure daily performance testing and a variety of challenges. They were competing for a potential prize fund of £100,000 though, at any point, if a contestant closed their eyes for over ten seconds, then £1,000 was deducted from the prize fund.
Does anyone remember "Your mother Wouldn't like It" on citv in the 80's?
I remember it. It was a kids sketch show with kids making up most of the cast. One of the sketches they did was Palace Hill with the children pretending to be members of the royal family and set in a school with 'Prince Charles' being headboy. Palace Hill eventually became a show in its own right.
Comments
Brilliant tv series.......Maurice Colbourn from Howards Way played the father iirc?.
One Summer
There was also Saturday Stayback which was essentially O.T.T in a pub.
Network 7
DEF II
The Oxford Roadshow
I loved Sledge Hammer!
Parker Lewis Can't Lose...howzat for good tv
It was a thriller set in Norway I believe.
I agree.
Robin of Sherwood in particular was a fantastic show and by far the best adaptation of the story. An excellent soundtrack provided by Clannad as well.
Got a bit silly when Michael Praed left (and was killed off) and was replaced by Jason Connery though.

The one i remember with Paperboy in it was hosted by Debbie Greenwood.
I just wiki'd her and it comes up with the show "first class" as having had paperboy in it, so that must've been it's name!!

Early 80's geek fun on BBC2, with a guy who could speak backwards, and all the hosts were named as anagrams of 'dragon'.
I used to love that show.
One of my all-time favourites.
