Haven't watched much of this series but gotta say that was an awesome dance from Hayley. For me Beth didn't do much skating on ice so I'm not yet sure how good she is. Wow though can't wait to see the rest
Anyone else think Christine looks worryingly thin? I couldn't stand her when all the stuff blew up about her moving to ITV, but she's grown on me during DOI. She should have stayed on The One Show and not been so swayed by Adrian Chiles and all the money.
God I need my specs downstairs - I read that as Achilles and was all confused about Christine and Greek Mythology!

The fact that Beth has skated more than some of others during the series has been a factor for me getting a bit riled up
Well done Hayley ,more skating on the ice than Beth so deserved those 10s
They don't decide how much time they spend on the ice...you just end up judging T and D or the music that way.
Hayley skated on her own a bit more, and did a few tricks with some familiar moves, Beth moved faster, had a faster routine, transitioned faster, and did more tricks. Beth looked like her female pros doing her routine. Hayley had a bigger story all to herself and acted it - but she's an actor.
Hayley did skate more than Beth out of two routines; but it was fairly basic solo skating. She also beamed her way through what should be a sultry dance. Beth skated as well as the pros.
Hope that proves to everyone that she can skate a little more than people have been giving her credit for!

I do give her credit for doing some solo skating, but all she did were some crossovers and a spiral - pretty much what she did in her previous solo skate, and it was soooo slow.

That's my take too. From a performance point of view that was a much cleaner routine than Beth's which quite honestly was rather messy.
I really couldn't care less, I enjoyed Hayley's routine more.
She can skate, yes.
Do she have the same level of skating ability as Ray and Beth? No.
