Pizza on the bus
Now before you all start I know I can order for delivery but a new pizza place has just opened up and is having a half price deal on all pizzas as part of it's grand opening.
Only two downsides. 1. It's for collection only and I don't drive
2. It's about a 25 minute walk from my home.
So the question is if the pizza is in it's box or even I take a bag large enough for it can I take it on the bus?

Depends if it smells too much, and you'll have to hold it horizontally which may take up too much room on the bus.
I guess it would probably smell as pizzas tend to do. So bus is out I could walk it but I'm not big on cold pizza.
Bah. I got myself stoked for pizza if only this wasn't opening the other side of town
Get the bus there and a taxi back?
Considering part of the attraction seems to be that the pizza is half price then doing what you suggest would likely cost him the same as having it delivered for full price?
If so, how will you guarantee the pizza is ready on time and that the bus isn't late on the way there and/or back?
So many variables...
I have no issue with walking the distance I was just considered about the food getting cold. So yeah waiting on the bus would have probably taken me as long anyway, And my local bus route sucks for time.
What with that and my bus pass I'd dine out a few nights a week and take my own wine.

You don't sound the type to get the bus...
Probably not... Because nobody in their right mind would take the bus to get a pizza...
Is this a joke thread?
Also don't forget to have a drink and leave the empty can rolling about the floor afterwards.
Smelly food isn't allowed on the bus. Why don't you make your own at home?
I wish this were true. I regularly have to endure the journey home from work with someone who has come out the pub and straight to the takeaway guzzling their way through something foul smelling while smacking their lios amd loudly sucking their fingers. As another poster said, henmthere is the obligatory remains left on the seat and cans rolling all over.
Our buses have big signs up. Bus drivers also police what comes on the bus. There were some drunks on the bus one time and the bus driver made them pour the cans onto their trousers to demonstrate what "empty cans" means.
A bus driver 'made them pour their cans onto their trousers'? How exactly?
Jedi mind trick?
If someone needs to eat, and isn't making a mess, they can do what they like as far as I'm concerned.
This never happened
This. You could always take your pizza to the local park bench and eat it there.
Are you the bus police?
