Best electric cooker to have in village hall

My husband has been asked to buy a new cooker for our hall. We know about electric cookers for the home as we have one, but has anyone experience of buying one for the public to use? Should it be solid rings, ceramic top or induction?

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Probably something second hand from a commercial retailer who does stuff for the trade as it'll probably handle better the knocks.

Depending on the fuse/wiring size and run you may be limited on choice unless you know it can handle the load as you don't want the cable melting on the first day setting fire to the building.

It will only be a domestic cooker as that is what has been there before.

Just be aware a domestic cooker won't be under guarantee in a non domestic setting and if it does cause problems you could be liable as you have provided a domestic appliance to a non domestic setting. When we ran the local village hall we had to provide commercial equipment so all the guarantees were valid and insurance covered us for any problems.
