Years back, Sainsbury's used to sell cubed rabbit. Are there any supermarkets, anywhere, selling rabbit meat at all?

No idea. I get mine from local market. They're wild and caught on local farmland.

I have seen it in Waitrose, but that was a few years ago. Buy it from a local butcher's now to ensure it's wild. (In fact it's furious, ho ho.....) Farmed rabbit is tastelessly bland & best avoided.

I'm guessing I should make friends with a butcher back in the Midlands. Perhaps in the local market. At least if available the price would be cheaper.

Yes, and get him to leave the offal in!! Liver, kidney and heart are extra little treats.

I've tried it roasted in a local pub - it just tasted like chicken. I think it was wild. There wasn't a lot of meat on the carcass.

Your loss! But you like haggis, so there's hope for you yet.
