I can't figure out if she was just nervous... or she actually can't talk properly. Which isn't the best attribute for a presenter.

She speaks English, she is not speaking a foreign language.

I have no problem understanding her.

I am struggling to understand the Welsh guy in the house.

    She sounds like Mel B.

Mel B is from Leeds, AJ is from Blackburn.

I'd say all you southeners sound alike, but you don't, and neither do these two.

And that's exactly my point, it doesn't do to be presumptuous.

Yes, to make the point, which stands no matter your origins, doesn't it?

In fact given your claims I'm even more surprised you made that inaccurate observation.

And I could only go off your name, not your voice.

    She sounds like Mel B.

    She sounds like Mel B!

on another thread someone said, she presents the show like Zezi Ifore, the young girl who did BBLB!

    Very strange?

    All three are totally different.

I think she sounds like Rachel from the last BB on channel 4. Was she from Blackburn too

Anyway she is perfectly understandable to me, unfortunately

She's understandable, but her diction is really bad for someone being paid to be a presenter. Not referring to her accent btw.

Makes me so annoyed when you have a presenter with a northern accent and suddenly people start saying they need subtitles! She sounds just fine to me.

Rachel was from Derby, and what is your problem with AJ's accent?

She has a Northern accent. I like it. Understood her perfectly, she was, however, clealrly nervous, as anyone would be on their first appearance on a show like this, when she knows that people will be picking up on anything and everything.

Oh dear. How sad. Never mind. Got any soundfiles of your perfect speech?
