when is the next post collection and delivery?

had no post since xmas eve, posted a card today for my mate's bday tomorrow and not sure if he will get it

When is the next Bin collection due is that I am wondering, AGES it has been and of course the mail.

You should have posted it before xmas, or you could send an e-card. Posties are back tomorrow.

Why not check your councils website. My council has no changes to their normal schedule as xmas and NY fell on weekends this year.

Bins emptied this morning but some neighbours forgot to put theirs out.

Royal Mail shut down on Dec 24th through to Dec 29th.

There was then a 3 day period (29, 30 & 31) where they operated normally, and have virtually caught up with the backlog according to my collections guy on the 29th.

They are now closed until Monday 3rd (night shift), and will return to normal duties from Tuesday 4th Jan.
