Why do flys...

....fly about in the middle of the room under the light fitting (daytime) for hours on end? I've got an archway, lounge through dining room so there's a light in both and I can see 4 flys roaming about together under one light and 3 under the other!

How do they know to go there? What the hell am I sat here watching it for :o

    They're painfully annoying. I've only ever noticed them when living in a flat thats not on the ground floor.

    We have a balcony door that slides open here, within minutes there are about 8 flapping around the light fitting.

    How do I get rid of 'um??
