I have read them both and they can be interpreted so many ways. Neither confirms anything.

its not a completely new character. its one we've heard of. its already been created lol i cannot see another recast so soon after peter (there is noone they need to recast) unless its a minor character like Courtney or louise it must be a character we havent seen
its definitely not a returning character played by the same actor
I've been going off SoapSqakws twitter and i have gathered that it isn't a return, it's an arrival, it isn't a blast from the past for a character, it's a blast from the past for us.

She was with Phil during his Alcoholic days (Mid -late 90's).....Janet left because she had a dispute with EastEnders bosses about where they were taking the Character which is why she left.
Janet left Doctors acting role but is now writing episodes for it. Her recent Interview shows that's what she wants to do more of in the future.
When Phil was married to Kathy and they had baby ben, he became an alcoholic, he started going to Alcoholics Anonymous and he started an affair with another alcoholic from the group. She was really cringey/weird/mad/annoying. Not a good character at all. I think she was just there for part of Kathys leaving storyline. I looked at EastendersSpoil tweets and they haven't tweeted in days.
Same, probably because I never watched EE back then I was only 5yrs old. However if she was a significant character I'm sure I would have heard of her, sounds like she's an unmemorable character.
